BET’s “Sistas” is switching things up in a major way ahead of the upcoming 10th season.
Novi Brown and Ebony Obsidian are set to let go of their regular roles as Karen and Ebony.

Ahead of the Season 10 premiere of “Tyler Perry’s Sistas” on January 7 at 9 p.m., it has been confirmed that Ebony Obsidian and Novi Brown will not return as series regulars for the show’s milestone season.
Returning cast members include KJ Smith, Mignon, and Crystal Renee Hayslett, along with Angela Beyince, Devale Ellis, Brian Jordan Jr., Chris Warren, and Monti Washington. Season 10 also introduces two new series regulars: Jordan Coleman (All American: Homecoming) and Tunde Oyeneyin (Life & Beth).
Coleman joins the cast as Cheyenne Barnes, a confident and sharp-tongued hairstylist whose bold exterior masks years of emotional wounds. Her reunion with her sister Andi forces her to confront parts of herself she’s long kept guarded. Oyeneyin plays Madison Truitt, a powerful entrepreneur thriving in a male-dominated industry. While successful and self-assured, Madison is still searching for a partner who matches her ambition and emotional depth.
Season 10 picks up after the shocking car bomb explosion from last season’s finale. As the fallout unfolds, loyalties are tested, past decisions resurface, and not everyone emerges unchanged. The season promises heightened tension, emotional reckonings, and major turning points for the women at the center of the story.
Created by Tyler Perry, the hour-long drama follows a group of single Black women navigating love, careers, and friendship in a world shaped by social media and modern dating pressures. New episodes will air weekly on Wednesdays on BET following the January 7 premiere.
